Our annual calendar photo contest starts August 1, and runs through the 31st. Each winner gets $100 and will see their photo featured in our annual calendar! Share your favorite moments and help us represent the spirit of our community. Hurry, the rules and more information can be found below. - Eligibility: The contest is open to all photographers, both amateur and professional who are 18 years and older as of the date of entry. The contest is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Hometown Bank and immediate family members are eligible to participate in the contest. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
- Content: Photos must depict life in Portage County, Ohio.
- Submission: The Contest must be entered by submitting a digital photograph file meeting the specified file format and size criteria via the online submission form via the submit button above. Entries must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Hometown Bank. Each Contestant may submit up to 10 entries during the Contest entry window. Correct contact information must accompany each photo submission. Failure to provide correct contact details may prevent you from being notified of winning.
- Format: Submit photos in JPEG or TIFF format.
- Resolution: Minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
- File Size: Each photo should be no larger than 15 MB.
- Originality: Photos must be original works, taken by the entrant.
- Quantity: Each participant may submit up to 10 photos, one photo per form.
- Contest Period and Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted between August 1 and August 31, 2024.
- Permissions: By submitting, you grant us the right to use your photos in our calendar, on our Facebook page, and in other advertising materials.
- Identification: Include your name, contact information, and a brief description of each photo submitted.
- Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Hometown Bank as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
- Prizes: The Winners of the Contest will receive a $100 cash prize. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winners. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Hometown Bank to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Winning photo participants need to submit a W9 BEFORE the prize can be claimed.
